Sterbai Corydora

The Sterbai Cory (Corydoras sterbai) is a striking and hardy catfish species native to the waters of the Guaporé River in South America. Recognized by its dark body covered with white spots and vibrant orange pectoral fins, it is a favorite among aquarists for its peaceful nature and unique appearance.  

Sterbai Corys are ideal for community tanks and should be kept in groups of at least 4–6 to encourage natural social behavior. They thrive in well-oxygenated, clean water. Their diet includes sinking pellets, wafers, and protein-rich foods like bloodworms, daphnia, or brine shrimp.
