Pygmy Corydora

The Pygmy Cory (Corydoras pygmaeus) is a miniature species of Corydoras catfish, native to the rivers and tributaries of the Madeira River Basin in Brazil. Unlike most Cory species, Pygmies are mid-water swimmers and prefer to school actively in groups of six or more.  

Ideal for nano tanks or peaceful community aquariums, these fish are gentle, highly social, and easy to care for. They thrive in clean, well-filtered water.

Their diet should consist of high-quality sinking micro-pellets, crushed flakes, and live or frozen foods like micro bloodworms or baby brine shrimp.
