Place of Origin: Lake Malawi
Pseudotropheus Elongatus Chewere are natives to Lake Malawi in Eastern Africa. They typically dwell in rocky areas that have plenty of caves and other hiding spots for them.
The Elongatus Chewere is an attractive Mbuna with both sexes being rather similar to each other in appearance, both have blue and black colouring but the male will have much more intense colours than the female.
Chewere, like most mbuna, need a high amount of green matter in their diet.
