Redtail Giant Gourami

Giant Redtailed Gourami Osphronemus laticlaviuswas. They are from southeastern Asia, found in Malaysia and Indonesia. Like the Giant Gourami, they probably inhabit rivers as well as lakes, and may enter flooded forests during the wet season. These types of fish are also found in the stagnant water of swamps and marshlands as well as in canals.
Osphronemus genus. This genus is commonly referred to as the giant gouramis and all are very similar in shape and very large.
