Golden Saum Green Terror (Humphead)

The Golden Saum Green Terror (Humphead) is a very rare and highly sought-after cichlid, known for its striking coloration and prominent nuchal hump in mature males. These fish are extremely hard to come by and availability is subject to change, depending on seasonal stock and breeder supply.

Native to the river basins of Ecuador and northern Peru, this variant is a selective strain of the Andinoacara rivulatus, often referred to as the "Green Terror."

Golden Saums require good water quality and stable conditions. 

Omnivorous — they thrive on a mix of high-quality pellets, live/frozen foods (bloodworms, brine shrimp), and occasional vegetables.

Males can grow up to 25–30cm; females are slightly smaller.

Golden Saums are territorial and semi-aggressive, especially during breeding. Best kept with similarly sized tank mates.

They are admired for their metallic green and gold shimmer, robust build, and the distinctive head hump in males. Each specimen has its own unique patterning, making them stand out in any aquarium.
