Monodactylus sebae, also known as the African Moony, Fingers Fish Or Mono Angel is a striking brackish water fish native to West Africa, particularly found in coastal lagoons, estuaries, and river mouths. This species is known for its distinct black vertical bands, deep-bodied silver sheen, and triangular dorsal and anal fins, giving it a uniquely angular, elegant look.
Origin:West Africa – primarily Senegal to Angola.
They are best kept in small groups.
Diet:They are omnivorous and will eat pellets, flakes, frozen foods like bloodworms and brine shrimp, and algae-based foods.
