Air stones are an excellent way to increase oxygen levels in your aquarium. However, their performance relies heavily on the size of the air pump or compressor used. Small air pumps can only support a single, small air stone, and their performance is affected by the length and condition of the piping between the two. Therefore, it's crucial to pair the right-sized air stone with the appropriate air pump. Smaller air pumps are designed for smaller air stones, so if you want more bubbles, consider upgrading to a larger air pump.

Additionally, ensure the air pump is positioned above the water level and install a Non-Return Valve to prevent water from flowing back into the air pump. The air pump connects to an air pipe, which then attaches to the air stone, providing a steady flow of oxygen for your aquatic friends.

By removing the black stopper on the end, you can easily connect multiple air stones together, allowing you to customize your oxygenation system to meet the specific needs of your aquarium.
